Default Get rid of the netting....

...and possibly make a bit of cash too.

Sat watching Burnley Everton on TV and can't help but notice that on at least one stand Burnley have a massive curtain on the end of the stand with a huge advert for a furniture store on it.
Is there a company in the North Wales area big enough to sponsor something similar for us?

A curtain like this would remove the need for any netting in the GUS if we had one on both the MRS and Yale ends. Get a company to pay X amount to have their name on it for X number of years (explain to them that thousands of people view the Vanarama and clubs own highlights packages on you tube) and with the income from that and the extra seats available it would soon be creating money for the club.

Cash that could be used to improve facilities that would allow us to gradually increase the capacity perhaps and then eventually bring international football back to the oldest international ground in the world once more.

If they are netting off sections then perhaps let any season ticket holders in those sections know.
At Tranmere 2 young lads arrived in the sold out MRS to find their seats netted over. The stewards were no help, telling them to find 2 empty seats in a sold out stand.

There were at least 30 odd seats in the Kop end of the MRS, unused that day , but I get your point

So the stewards should of done their job you are agreed and told the people taking seats which they have not chosen and paid for like the person posting had. Should the person above who has chosen his/her seats move?

Probably should have given them a refund partial refund and found them elsewhere to sit .
I was more stuck on the day by the amount of seats that were unoccupied during the Tranmere game, thats all.

Don't net seats off without finding season tickets in those seats alternative seats. And tell them beforehand.
Simple enough really.

The owner of the said furniture company is a massive Burnley fan and originally from the area. He used to sponsor the club until he did the "right thing" and let a even bigger sponsor take the main sponsorship over for a much bigger sum when they got promoted.

Great idea but its more about finding fans with big corporate pockets
