Well done to pagl, for making the effort to get this going and hopefully get us off to a good start. We've all seen the massive difference BtB has made, allowing DK to get the foundations in place to build something really good, at last we can pay transfer fees and offer 2 year deals, all indicators of a brighter future. We are not unique with our fan funding, for example both Lincoln & Aldershot raised £100K, but with our fan base we can always do better. Blackpool will want to recoup their investment in Quiggley and a bit more of last season's buy-in may just be enough to make it happen. We may just yet finish the job this season but if we don't, we all want to see that elusive midfield general and quality strikers being added to this squad, we just need to want it enough.

Yes because of the improved first team budget.

It means we can keep our better players or at least demand fees, if clubs higher up the pyramid come knocking. All progress on our weak bargaining position, just a little over 12 months ago.
