Re: Daily Post gives up on WFC ?
I'm surprised people still buy a newspaper, I've moved with the times and read news online, snowflake? That sounds like a childish Trump comment which only him knows what it means, keep politics off RP plenty or places online to spout political propaganda.

Re: Daily Post gives up on WFC ?
Another spineless local rag.
Let’s not forget how pathetic and feeble they were when the club was on the brink. Each time they failed the club miserably with spineless leeches like Currie siding with scum like Moss. Who can forget his stance over the red card protest when the Gut was here and the apology we’re still waiting for. They can rot as can the equally spineless Leader. Both were content to sit back and not task their so called journalists to do some real investigations instead choosing to not rock the boat. And to think some of these so called journalists claim to be fans. |

To be fair a lot of people had no idea what was going on with the red card protest, I must admit to be very confused at the time and many people were in denial thinking such a thing could not happen to us. I agree that our ownship problems should have been better highlighted by the media, but I suppose the big wigs will never print anything controversial that may effect sponsorship deals. Nev Dickens did a lot of advertising with the Leader remember. |

Re: Daily Post gives up on WFC ?
Where the Post really brought criticism to themselves was Currie's stance towards protests and fan ownership. The Leader kept it neutral to protect themselves but Currie was (and in retirement sometimes still is) the mouthpiece to say that only money men can know what to do with clubs, even as that visibly unfolded to be an opinion with no credibility.
