Default The Curious Case of Dom Vose

Took me ages to write this up. Feedback welcome. Vose has already been in touch worried about how it was going to come across. I think it's fair. Enjoy.

Well written and seems a fair summary.

I feel he has a ton of ability. What I don’t know and what we are all guessing is, are there issues with attitude or maybe even just being unsettled away from the M25 area.

His career is still in his own hands, to turn it round, settle in somewhere and consistently perform at the good level he most certainly looks capable of.

The Chester stint is a chance for him to put himself in the shop window, and then line up a deal for next season at this level.

If it doesn’t work out, then maybe the NL South beckons.

I wish him good luck, he certainly did, as you say, get us out of our seats, during his time here. He can really make things happen in a game. Let’s hope he can make things happen for himself too.

That highlight reel is pretty impressive considering he was only with us for 6 months. It didn't show the times when he took six touches when one would do, or when he walked around the pitch looking disinterested though. He is undoubtedly the most naturally gifted player we've had since we've been in the conference, it's just a shame he hardly ever looked arsed.

I'd have him back on a minimum wage, with bonuses for every goal, assist and miles run

Best footballer on the pitch, today. Played some great through balls.

But ultimately did nothing at all, bottled multiple challenges and was too scared to get stuck in. Wouldn't have him any where near this team

Watching him manipulate the ball is still a glorious sight. Kelly took a very important yellow card fouling him. He knew if he got running at our back line it was danger.
