Just a bit of extra class , that we had , that was the difference between the two sides. We really aren’t good enough to go up. I also saw today Dom Vose win the first 5o-5o challenge of his career- with Deverdics !

On the plus side there was a much improved performance from Roberts, Raven slotted in well with the imperious Pearson, Wedgebury scrapped and scrapped, and we are fourth.

Same old problem with a 442 formation that leaves Quigley up front on his own!!! and
a midfield 4 that is all over the place and gives the opposition far too much space and far too much of the ball.

First 15 minutes we should have put them to the sword but we lacked urgency and any tempo and gradually as the first half wore on they got more of the ball - very disappointing.

Slow start to 2nd half but then we upped the tempo and within 5 minutes of doing this we scored.

3 points keeps us right in the play off mix but DK has to sort out some of the basics and negativity from some players. Nice to see Carra back and thought Raven did a good job alongside Pearson.

Saw Manny leaving the ground, soon after game. Was walking a bit gingerly, and flexing his leg from time to time. Had little lad/girl with him, so don't know if he was heading straight home. Fingers crossed.

We seemed to start playing when Boden was kitted up to come on, don't think anyone wanted to be hooked to make room for him!

Took us an hour to get going but when we did we scored two well taken goals and then pretty much dominated until the end.
