We went without a recognized regular right back for a number of years - DK signed Roberts for that very reason and I think he is set in stone in that position.

Carrington is a decent squad infiller but as others have said - he wont go forward - sideways at best or back.

I got the impression that Wedgbury & Wright in the team at the same time make us too defensive orientated and so Wright has to drop out.

Kelly is experienced and makes the ball move and has the ability to takes things forward and be creative.

Deverdics on Sunday looked rather poor especially first half - but having watched the TV recording of the match came to a different conclusion - he did some decent things and can provide some decent ammunition in the form of free kicks, corners and crosses - but they don't come off all the time. He seems another that gets pushed off the ball too easily but if he was good at everything he wouldn't be playing in the National League would he ?
