Guys & ladies, I can only re-iterate what I was told by someone at the ground that he was on the bus going to Woking. If it is untrue, i will apologise here and now but that's what I was told.

Personally, i have mixed feelings. You can't stand in someone's way if he/she wants to go to better themselves but i will be sad all the same. He has done a sterling job of bringing the club around from the debacle of the previous manager. I think we all agree his signings of Pearson, Manny, Quigley (on loan) and Wedgbury has been pivotal to our season. So if he goes it will be with thanks and if he stays, it will be great news.

Shirley if he is going the trust wouldn't let him be in charge tommorow. How can someone who is about to jump ship expect his players to run through brick walls for him against Woking . Another kick in the teeth for the fans

Could be unveiled on Monday then...

I guess this gives a bit of continuity for us for tomorrow and then a week settling before the next match.

In the situation as it is, makes perfect sense.

Maybe there won't be an announcement today then.

I totally agree . I was trying to put myself in his shoes , this morning !
His stock is reasonably high and the job at Walsall has popped up.
He could stay with us and possibly get us up-just as likely we fail and then his stock starts to fall -who knows and then the jobs not available any more !
His dream job is waiting and with the best will in the world , hes going to be tempted!
Just hope hes not going till the end of the season , if he is !
