If it wasn't Walsall he wouldn't have gone. I am pretty sure of it.
He shouldn’t have been given that clause then. He shouldn’t have been given a clause that allowed him to go during the season when he was on the verge of possible success. I am sorry to keep going on about this but I am astonished that people don’t get it.

It is surprising that we gave a rookie manager a buy out clause. Unless it was a good amount of compensation that would allow us to buy out another successful manager.

stop moaning it could be a blessing in the future, keates has done well in building a better team than of late, but his failure to sign a striker when we were crying out for one has left us a bit of a task, whereas had he of acted sooner instead of being happy with our draws and defensive play we could be top and out of sight with the league won. if he opts for the same at walsall he will fail miserably. i hope the board do not take the cheap option again and employ an experienced manager, do not want to see the likes of graig harrison anywhere near the club. heres hoping we go on a run and not fall away now keates has gone

What we thought was a good loyal manager has jumped ship when the sea was calm and the shore was in sight.
But this gives a challange to all our players to work hard for just 9 more games and acheive a good chance of promotion.
We could be playing Walsall next season !!
Our Club is bigger than anyone and anything

How was he disloyal Hugo when we were happy with the terms too?

Would it be disloyal if we say sacked him with just a few months severance contractually?

Surely, you buy your season ticket because it's Wrexham FC....Not because of whoever the manager is..

According to him we’re the “Whore of football” so why would he want to support us eh...

Wasn't that to protect us a bit more after the whole Mills fiasco?
Apart from 3 years 2010-2013 I am starting to think the whole lot has been a fiasco and we are just doomed to unhappiness in this league!!!
