I don’t see what the problem is, people saying they will give up the season ticket etc (although it’s their privilege to do so of course)

But as many have said already, Keates, we couldn’t stand in his way. Walsall to him is like Wrexham to Joey.

The timing is not ideal, but it rarely is, is it.

I think he did some good things for us, throwing out the dead wood, bringing in some decent players ...

But we have to move on, and to me it’s an Opportunity

I will get gunned down for this, but I do wonder whether Keates was holding us back at times with the ‘set up not to lose’ mentality

Perhaps now we will play with more freedom going forward and it might be the difference between success and failure in the next couple of months

That’s not to knock Keates though, he did a decent job

But we move forward now

ye we have, and it is frustrating but people having little tantrums saying they ain’t buying season tickets before the season has finished is pathetic!

Football is foremost a sport not a set of legal contracts

To leave blamless players managerless in playoff positions and not having completed any season that's disloyalty in my book

Maybe because he is a fan. Thats what is so Stalinist about you lot - the easy way you can label people non fans because they dare criticise the model, when in fact they probably care more than you do.

There’s a difference between offering critique of the model in a dignified and constructive manner, and calling your club the “whore of football”.

Can’t believe this needs explaining to you. Staggering stupidity.

I have really had enough of this. Every time we show any sign of improvement, the club just can't resist cashing in

as much as Keates is a tit for leaving the way he has

you are a jsut as bad for having that kind of mindset. and blaming the board

#nottheirfault

you won't be missed next season.. cya!

Give over, you've been moaning about Keates and his style of play for months and now all of a sudden you're using him leaving as a stick to beat the board with.

Not sure if you are an employment lawyer but please enlighten me, just how do the club, any club, demand that an employee remains at work when they want to leave (for far more money) to a higher level when his new employer agrees to pay the not inconsiderable compensation referred to in the contract. If there is a way to keep employees against their will then please share it as if there is we can use it to demand resignations.
