Re: A Challange in Adversity
I don’t see what the problem is, people saying they will give up the season ticket etc (although it’s their privilege to do so of course)
But as many have said already, Keates, we couldn’t stand in his way. Walsall to him is like Wrexham to Joey. The timing is not ideal, but it rarely is, is it. I think he did some good things for us, throwing out the dead wood, bringing in some decent players ... But we have to move on, and to me it’s an Opportunity I will get gunned down for this, but I do wonder whether Keates was holding us back at times with the ‘set up not to lose’ mentality Perhaps now we will play with more freedom going forward and it might be the difference between success and failure in the next couple of months That’s not to knock Keates though, he did a decent job But we move forward now COYR |

Football is foremost a sport not a set of legal contracts To leave blamless players managerless in playoff positions and not having completed any season that's disloyalty in my book |

Re: A Challange in Adversity
Not sure if you are an employment lawyer but please enlighten me, just how do the club, any club, demand that an employee remains at work when they want to leave (for far more money) to a higher level when his new employer agrees to pay the not inconsiderable compensation referred to in the contract. If there is a way to keep employees against their will then please share it as if there is we can use it to demand resignations.
