I’d like to see Darlington made permanent Director of Coaching (on a part time basis if that is what he still wants). He can then set the playing style and the philosophy, and day to day affairs could then be handled by a first team manager. If that manager goes it is then not such a huge issue.
This kind of set-up worked well for Swansea as they climbed the leagues under a number of different managers. |

I’m not sure it is that clearly defined at the moment. He’s just a coach and there is no guarantee he will still be here if the next manager doesn’t want him, as happened under Mills. In my view we should have a more clearly defined heirarchy.

I agree Redtalk. I just hope those who are making the decision recognise the mistake that was made after Wilkin was sacked. \even if we would all like to see some more attractive football Dean, Andy and Carl have laid the groundwork for a more professional approach to how we run things on the field. No more short termism. We should fight to keep Carl and Andy at the club and the new man needs to buy in to our philosophy.
