No. The club, the oldest in Wales with a history stretching back 138 years, was formed when Plasmadoc Football Club became the Druids.

The outfit narrowly pips Wrexham Football Club as Wales’ oldest side – the Dragons were formed a couple of months or so after the Druids in 1872.

An also druids joined together with the Cefn Albion back in the 80s as struggled for a side so the fact about druids being oldest club is wrong as they folded at one stage

Do the FAW not invest in the North? TNS, Bala, Llandudno, Cefn Druids and Airbus play on 3G or 4G pitches. Bangor and Connahs Quay have them next to the grounds. Wanting it is one thing but you need to put in a proposal why they should throw money at it.

Good post. People just expect the govt to demolish the Kop and replace it with a Stockport/Tranmere style stand. Why would they do that?

I think going by information by Lesley Griffiths provided to her by Ken Skates,in an article in Wrexham.com on the 07 March, that the Welsh Govt are looking into the possibility of purchasing the land, with a view to the potential development of the kop at some future date. On the another subject, there is a chance as part of other discussions ongoing of a Football Museum being built on part of the purchased site. The fans are reacting to this information and no more.
