I think a manager should come in now rather than end of season. Said manager will learn a lot about these players in these final games more than he ever would through training sessions alone.

I suspect a deal is done with someone and Rob knows this, hence this thread.

Now i still have my doubts , but reading what i have, it is not as wild a rumour as first thought!

There are quite a few who are convinced it's him. I can see why it might well be him, but still can't see it myself.

Identifying players and securing their services are two entirely different things.

Early season injury to Holroyd didn't help. Loan signings of Miller and Quigley have been OK.
Pursuit of Cooke - failed. It's not like they haven't been trying.

Biggest failure for me is the midfield. Still not sure what the tactics were apart from missing it out.
