Whats the purpose of the question.

RP users have donated thousands over the years in terms of COE sponsorship, Joe Clarke fund, players wages fund, match sponsorships to name a few plus BTB started here with over £4k immediately pledged to start it off.

Many RP’ers have been responsible for collecting, pledging and carrying the torch.

Most certainly RP serves a very useful purpose but WFC could conceivably survive without RP but not vice versa.

Without it, word of mouth may not have carried the message not sp many years ago that a lot dof money was needed in very little time to secure oir league place. I think it is 100% fact.

I remember the contribution RP did to help people keep in touch with the desperate goings on in 2011 during that desperate 24 hrs. Without this medium, we would have no club. Without RP what would be our source of information, Leader, Daily Post, BBC Wales. Contributions by fans on here sometimes can be controversial, but without it to bring the fans together I would worry for the future of our club. Those living away would have little info about the daily comings and goings.

There is a lot of industry around town which makes money from the club on match days and don't contribute a penny to the club, need to ask that question of them not RP.

Good point. I may be wrong but I don’t see any money coming from Premier inn, Arrival Trains Wales, Wetherspoons et al. And major companies on the industrial estate who take no interest in the town - Kellogg’s, jcb, etc

So different from wXm Lager .

RP has many stupid threads but it is an invaluable means of spreading news. How many times has this forum answered a plee from the club to Pagl for a last minute ball sponsor etc? The snowdon walks made thousands out of pledges made because of this site. The raffles, the events, the buckets collections at various grounds. More events than I can remember.

Whatever prompted the thread the answer is the same - many tens of thousands of pounds have been generated for the club and money is still being raised because of the threads on here.

Long may it continue to do so.
