Is looking at the title race too desperate?! :jester: |

Can’t help but think we needed those two dropped points on Saturday :(

Re: Macc losing...
I sometimes wonder whether teams like Macc, chronically in debt and with poor support, deliberately lose games at this stage as they are not equipped to return to the league. There has never been a better chance to go up automatically and I still dream that we haven't, yet, missed the boat.

Very costly. But so were dropped points against Sutton, Barrow, Leyton Orient etc etc |
Re: Macc losing...
5 points to go with 8 games left we were in with a good chance of overtaking Macc. That is essentially them slipping up twice. 7 points with 8 games is a little too much. We need Macc to slip up at least 3 times to catch them up if we win everything which seems unlikely.

How sad that we now think that games against Maidstone, Sutton or Boreham Wood are "tough". Football, like nostalgia, ain't what it used to be. |
