Geoff Scott has been in touch and offered us 4 places at the Evening of Thanks which will be held on Thursday 12th April 2018.

I propose to put everyone into the hat who sponsored the 2 first team shirts and those who contributed to the matchball sponsorship.

I will draw SIX names out of the hat and have reserve places in case those who are chosen are unable to attend.

I will go back through the payments and post here those who are being entered into the draw.

Sorry but I will be in Hampshire for my sons wedding from the 12th April so please take my name out of the draw. Though if my name needs to be in for the signed shirt keep it in lol then you can give away my place at the evening of thanks.

Good Luck to the remaining sponsors and have a great time. I know I did when I was last selected for the evening of thanks.

I think Geoff Scotts brother Andy should be in the evening of thanks the club owe him a debt of gratitude.

Just a suggestion but would it be an idea that from the 6 names drawn the first two have the choice of having the shirt or attending the evening...if they are not able to make the evening they aren't losing out. There are 6 clear winners then
Still not sure if it was cleared up but the last two years I'm still not sure what has happened to the shirts we were given for our sponsored players? Do we know who had them?

I seem to remember that the 2 from last season were donated 1 to DSA and the other to back the budget. But that info could be very wrong. Your suggestion is a good one as 6 of the sponsors will benefit. I understand the drawing 6 names as there are usually withdrawls from the invited sponsors so 4 and 2 reserves.
