Should of been 3 up before the break, and it was looking like another superb keeping display would frustrate us for the second game in a row.

We let Maidstone back into the match and it was a huge relief to see the best two chances of the match fluffed by them.

It didn't look like a free kick on Quigs by their keeper, but we'll take it. Great delivery and who else to force it home!

A worthy 3 points in the end but we really struggled to break down a well organised defence after a bright start.

No secrets now, we all know what this squad is about. Point of the season now, where results really are the only thing that matter. I'll gladly take 7 more ugly wins.

No point in what if's, it'll be playoffs barring a miracle/disaster so let's keep behind the boys and who knows what we can achieve in a series of one off games. Being so hard to beat is likely to stand us in v good stead.

Quigley poor , Holroyd poorer, off day for wedgbury. Kelly much better , Smith mr reliable. Many on here have said they were happy that Keates left and he hasn’t done such a good job - hush your mouths and thank him for bringing pearson to this club. I believe.

Pearson picked the team up on his shoulders and carried us to that win. What a great competitor he is. The ref and linesman must have a headache from his 'chats' with them throughout the game. He's just brilliant. Saw him bollock Wedgebury for not playing a one two with him and Rutherford for making the wrong run. He's the leader every team needs and many don't have. He's the difference between us challenging at the top and languishing in mid table.
