love this idea, even something like keep all your tickets of last 4 home games and get play off game discounted price or travel discounted - increases attendance and therefore atmosphere and money should be made back on boosted sales

What this club needs now is what Pearson reminded us all of at the final whistle - we are in the scrap and I don’t care how we have got here. In a battle you need to be unified. 7 , perhaps 9 games and a bright future awaits- let’s do it for Jacko. Utst
Good post, as good as Tranmere, Aldershot and Sutton have played at times, they will be just as nervous about playing us, and knowing how hard we are to beat Home or away.

Home record is far better though not lost since opening day for all the doom and gloom on here at times.
You never know with knockout football but I agree given the format we need a top 3 finish to have a good chance rather than in boxing speak just a punchers chance

I think any of the top seven would be happy coming here to play us. They know they probably will only have to score once and we will struggle to break them down.
The racecourse is not the fortress some people think it is these days.
On our day we can beat any of the teams in the current top seven, even Macclesfield. But we need to score first to do so.

Against Harrogate I’m FAT in December 17. In league it was first game of the season against Macclesfield.

Thanks to Tokyored for posting dates and format - good for planning purposes!

Anyone else got a funny feeling that the headline for one or more playoff games is going to be ‘Aingel sends reds into raptures!’ - just got this really really strange feeling that he’ll score a big goal for us at some stage!! COYR

So if we finish in 2nd or 3rd place then we are just ONE game away from a Wembley final!!
Or in more simplistic terms, win 2 games and we’re promoted :-)
