I have just noticed that Bromley go to Hartlepool on Tuesday 27th and then have to play us on Friday 30th. Are they going to be tired by the second half of our game with them?

And they had a long trip up to Gateshead yesterday, plus a shorter turn around than usual playing on Friday. Also will an appearance at Wembley in the Trophy final be a distraction? No player at this level will want to miss out on that opportunity. Could work either way. In my view no better time to break our duck at Bromley. Lost 3-1 and 4-3 last two seasons but we now have a much better team. Above all we must not lose but really neeed the 3 points.COYR.

Same for them though they have Barrow home on the Friday then a trip up to us on the Monday.

Didn’t Newport play 3 games in a week the season they beat us in the final?

The point being these lads can do two or three games a week in isolation. If we prepare on the basis that they’ll be bolloxed, it’ll be to our detriment.
