Never seen a player hide so much in s game, just didn’t demand the ball or go looking for it. One decent ball per game is just not enough. I would drop him he just doesn’t put a shift in. Don’t even get me started on his dodgy Buck’s Fizz haircut!

When someone is looking to pass to him he just point at someone else to have the ball. Don't understand why we have signed two average players from a team near the bottom of the league.

Yes he needs to play better but he can't go from one of the most highly rated players in this league to a nobody.
There is a decent player there somewhere, but how do we get him out?

These youngsters with their hairstyles that aren't like how our hairstyles were when we were their age. And their music that isn't the same as the music we used to listen to. What's wrong with them... It's like they're a different generation or something.

He’s probably as disappointed as we are that he isn’t making much of an impact on games since he arrived

As others have said he was a big name on opposition team sheets in recent years, always capable of a goal, and being an important part of the team at his previous clubs

Maybe it’s a fitness thing, maybe we aren’t playing him in his most effective position on the pitch, perhaps it’s both of these things

I’m sure Devs will be working on it, as will the management/coaching team - I don’t think we have any players that want to underperform

Main thing I would say (without wishing to sound like a liberal leftie) is that whatever limitations a few of our players may have, we really all just need to pull together for these vital last few weeks of the season - get behind Devs and the rest of the squad and push for what we are all hoping to achieve....promotion .....

My Hartlepool friends weren't particularly sad to see him go and their form has picked up since he left. There description of him as a "free-kick specialist" was delivered with a knowing smile.

I’m just convinced he has come here hoping to do well, be part of a promotion push, settle in well with the other players, and do what he knows he is capable of

For whatever reason it’s not quite clicking in some games, but we really just all need to get right behind every player now (not in the biblical sense of course) we really can be a 12th man just now, helping to diffuse any nerves..... as the man says on the mic before kick off, back the boys, make some noise
