Strange has it may seem, in the league, there has only been two Hartlepool and Dover. We failed to scored also when we lost to Macclesfield. So failing to score in only three out of 20 games seems very entertaining, stats do not lie or may be in this case........

We already have the land as part of the lease with GU. But I take your point -my figures are finger in the air.

Members of the DSA recently attended an event at Liverpool F.C held in their new stand. The dining areas and bars resembled that of a luxury hotel and seem to be in virtually constant use.
Realistically we could never match that physical provision but we could follow the same thinking and go for a scaled down version while keeping the quality.

We should also be pushing for the Welsh Museum of Football to be part of the development. I would also go for a safe standing area behind the Kop goal - will we ever fill it? Anything is possible given time, determination and belief. 'Build it and they will come'.

I'd be happy to see this sort of development, apart from the Museum white elephant.( that would be counterproductive. We are looking to make money not lose it. First things first though, we need to demolish the kop and level the area to develop facilities under a safe standing area.

The council is an east target but Glyndwr own the stadium and Wrexham AFC are its leaseholders. They must make the case to the council, when the council should then facilitate any loans for the redevelopment of the kop. Is it not Glyndwr and the WAG who are trying to buy the land currently owned by Geoff Moss? Presumably they have a reason for doing so, whether it be to build more student accommodation or a complex that could include the elusive Wales Football Museum. It strikes me that Wrexham should be the venue for such an establishment because we are the home of football in Wales, regardless what the johnny-come-latelies from South Wales think.

It does open up a wider issue of how much capital expenditure is needed to keep the Yale and Tech End stands open. Furthermore, although the Mold Road stand has better viewing and facilities it is a ‘white elephant’ when it comes to generating additional revenue.

Leaving aside the contractual issues over our 99 year lease, we will have to ask the question whether redeveloping the Racecourse is a better option than building a new ground. It’s a very emotive topic, but one that won’t go away. If the Racecourse is the better option, then any new facilities must be useable for - and utilized often - other, non-footballing events.

IMHO, the WST should be leading a consortium of different agencies and organizations to ensure we get the best deal possible.

do we need a new stand ,for what i can see the kop structure may need a part new roof but the floor only needs to be shuttered with concrete

its not as big a job as people make out ,

if it was that unsafe why have cameras there to do matches plus if it was that dangerous why do we allow ball boys to get the ball.
get a safe enough area to take at least 1000 fans for a start

we dont need a new stand we need to refurbish what we have .

Generally unstable, No room for toilets and/ or catering facilities. (Don't lease beyond the existing sheeting line of the kop. Limited access. Plenty of reasons why it has to be redeveloped and not patched up.

As is said by some "fans" who criticise the club and its management for having "no ambition."
