At least, once a stand has been built, the museum could be replaced with something else..
The council seem happy to let us fund their museum perhaps they should be combined.

Absolutely no reason for the council to get involved unless the sale of the land behind the Kop effects the access to the remainder of the Racecourse.

Just reading through the post's & you beat me to it I loved standing on the Kop the football them days would barely make you feel drowsy now the most excitement you get is " Back the boy's & make some noise" and the odd good hoofed ball 😈 seriously though the Kip once known as the Kop I would love to see it back before I am too old to climb the steps.

Hard to see Everton needing a 60k capacity at the moment!

First of all I'm no builder so I'm sure Those more knowledgeable will educate me on this

Ok the foundations are crumbling away and the barriers not fit for purpose those that are left, I'm guessing that the covered area stanchions are not rotten why can't we use the concrete and previous foundations as a new foundation and concrete straight on the top? The previous Kop was not sloping enough anyway, then if of course the stanchions just need painting with red lead and a new roof sort out the toilets and turnstiles it wouldn't cost a massive amount.

I'm guessing it's undoable but I'm interested to hear views off those more in the know.

The barriers were tested some 10 years? ago and the majority failed due to the poor ground underneath. A solution at the time would have cost in excess of £100k.
Since then there has been further deterioration and the costs will have escalated.
Loading more concrete on a weak base is not the answer, it compounds the problem.
Sorry if this appears negative but they are, to the best of my knowledge, the facts.
on top of that we don't have access to the rear of the Kop and would have to fence off the boundary, provide toilets and catering and get a safety certificate for evacuating the ground.
None of the above are unsolvable but it comes as a cost and will be seen as throwing money away on a temporary solution.

They sell out most home matches and sold out all away tickets this season. There is also a long waiting list for season tickets. Cant imagine what the demand would be if they were a top 6 club.
0ver 50 percent still owned by fans as opposed to Liverpool which is wholly USA owned.
C'mon the mighty blues!!!
