Which Wxm fan is happy with mid table, I'm a bit if an exile other than on match days but every Wxm fan I know (who actually gives a fig) about the club, expects Wxm to be challenging for promotion and would be devastated if they don't make the play offs. Where some of us differ, we could see real progress under Keates and willing to be patient and accept football based more on grinding out results than free scoring/flowing if it meant a shot at promotion in his first full season, whilst putting the building blocks in place to ensure we do not suffer the indignity of any more mid table finishes.
It is now hypothetical, but he wouldn't have got the same licence next season, but this season the way I see it, it was was a necessary means to an end that looks like achieving the first objective of reaching the play offs.
