Sorry mate but we are a big club at this level, I don't think anybody can argue with that.

Would you want to be judged by a brief stint managing that basket case. Like us, the problem with Chester is they believe they’re a big club at this level based on their support. However, they’re not
McCarthy kept them up a couple of seasons ago when they were in a similar position so no reason why Bignot?

I appreciate he couldn't do a great deal about the financial position but speak to a few Chester fans as I do and they will tell you the same.

More like a town that's an embarressment to the club. Supporter led clubs need just that - support. Too busy quoffing champers to bother with their struggling football team, cheshire tossers.

To be fair Welshian - I don't think they quaff too much champers in Blacon and the Leach!

They also have support in Saltney, CQ and QF as well - outside Cheshire.

This is part of their problem, the real Cheshire set don't want to know them.....

I agree with your summing up of our club but I don’t think a lot of our supporters do.

So out of curiosity Alan how would you define a big club at this level if not by the clubs history and good support?

Jnd you are right. My issue was the suggestion that this is a negative and perhaps leads to arrogance on our behalf. We have harnessed our good support and traded on our history to set a solid base. By comparison to the boreham wood’s of this world we are bigger in terms of what you state and I hope it’s only a matter of time that we use it to our advantage. One thing Is for sure there is no ‘given ‘ in football so we have to keep working hard on and off the field.

Very funny !!! Jokes on 1st April sometimes come true but I expect Chester will give him 6 more months with Young as his assistant.
