He is a very good coach Dixie unfortunately the players are limited. Look at the careers they have had. The player with the best pedigree out of our midfield/wide players in Jonathon Frank's and Holroyd depending if you class him as striker or midfielder. Kelly has never played much above this level, every time Mackreth has made the jump up to league football he comes straight back down. Wedgebury has played 13 games in league 1, he was a regular for Macc in league 2 but in a side that got relegated. Ruthers for all his hard work and assists has had a career playing for Chester, Southport and Barrow. The point is they are solid enough at this level but thats all they are.

I've heard he's a very good coach but like I said I'm not seeing any evidence of it during a game, probably somethimg to do with the fact he can't commit fulltime. I understand our players are limited but you could say the same thing about nearly all other teams in this league, but somehow they seem to have a pattern to what they're trying to do. We've been clueless since August.

I think the draws column speaks for itself, our style is focussed on being hard to beat. Beyond on that we don't have enough quality or pace going forward. We are also trying to fit square pegs into round holes at times, neither Kelly or Deverdics are wingers but thats where they have been asked to play much of the season. We haven't got enough balance in the squad. We also lack pace and power. The better teams to have come here, Aldershot for example attacked with alot of pace and were direct about it. We don't have that ability as we lack players with pace.

Spot on blackbrookred. Team set up based on fear of losing like many other teams. Works well if opposition don't take the lead but then lack of flair, ideas, creativity, pace and implementation really show. This is where Macclesfield, Sutton United, Boreham Wood, Tranmere, Aldershot and Fylde have the edge on us, although Aldershot are recently showing inconsistency and could also lose out like ourselves. Quigley apart, the three signings in the January transfer window have disappointed or not been used properly. I originally stated that the post-Keates appointments were a sensible interim decision. My mate disagreed saying we needed an experienced manager at the helm until the end of the season and that the board had opted for a cheap labour decision in spite of being in a strong financial position. Alas, I believe he may be proved right!

At the moment we are being coached and managed by a part time person and what is basically a youth team coach being in the right place at the right time.
We need a full time experienced manager who knows this and Div 2 well and has the contacts to bring in players who can get us out of this league .
Keates will be found out at Walsall for the basic defense minded person he is with little to add other than a bit of experience .

Unfortunately this sums up the situation and from what I have seen on the pitch then I am not sure the coaching ability is that good.
Pearson is his own man and teams up well with Manny as we know but after that Who else has improved under the coaching?

The management position needs sorting asap.

Never posted so excuse any mistakes.
Performance on Monday was beyond belief how some of our so called attakers can pick up their wages is beond me, they wouldn't have scored if they would have been there till now.If every body does'nt pull their fingers out we wont make the playoffs and that would be a crying shame.Thats just my honest opinion!!!

They have had some high calibre applicants you know 😂 that's what they say everytime the job comes up every 18 months, that's what amazed me when they chased Mills paying a release clause, what happened to the so called high calibre applications then? and the last time when they gave it the inexperienced Keates?
Now here we go again Keates dumps us and imaginary high calibre managers are applying, so they await the new digital clapometer and then they will give the job to Davies permanently using the excuse of 2 year project, continuity of anti-football boring the tits off us. The so called cheap option.
