Default Lack of Discipline

Three yellow cards for dissent is unacceptable.
Ok in Pearson’s case he is captain and argues every decision for his team but there is a line.
You cannot blame today’s excuse for a referee as each card was justified.
I don’t know what the club rules are or whether it’s down to the Manager to apply punishment but all three should be punished financially imho.

He is the captain and should set an example. Of course speak with the referee but this screaming and shouting gets us nowhere. He and that idiot Jennings need to grow up and stop letting us down.

Five yellows and a red in a game triggers a fine from the league doesn’t it?

I think 5 yellows does anyway so don't know if we get something extra for the red. I said in the live thread that this Ref laid his colors out early with booking people. Think we got lucky with the one red.

Totally agree with all said above. Once a ref books someone for dissent, everyone should get the message that he's not up for discussing his decisions. 3 bookings for dissent is a disgrace and they, along with Roberts need a bollocking.

Agree with the hard line approach but not one of their players was booked for time wasting or kicking the ball away. Also kicking and hitting the ball at our right back who was on the floor after being fouled. Double standards all the way through the game.

Roberts was hit wi5h the ball, but he decided to take matters into his own hands. That’s not acceptable when you are a pro. I know that the Captain can ask th3 ref questions, but Pearson is way over the top. Some of our lads still think they are playing for the school, not WAFC.

Lack of discipline or frustration? Put yourself in the players position - very difficult I know because many haven't played - but remember how frustrated you were getting watching the ref give strange decision after strange decision. Players are bound to react, and the way the ref was on Monday he was always going to react the same way (I'm in charge, look at me) - if there was a level of consistency in the ref's performance there could (and should) have been a lot more cards on both sides. The players should learn not to react an act professionally, but you can guarantee if that had happened on Monday there would have been uproar on here regarding lack of passion (as well as the poor performance) - as has been said 'we put it behind us and go again'

The ref IS in charge! I sit on the Mold Road side with the lino in front of me, Pearson and Jennings give the lino in EVERY single game hassle over decisions, They don't know when to shut up and accept decisions, The Captain should lead by example, No one is against passion from players but there is always a line to be drawn.
