Default Manny says 'all stick together'

In the Leader today then Manny Smith says everyone must stick together now to get to the play offs and possibly win them.

I think the fans have stuck by the team all season as attendances both home and away have shown. 4,700 last game with 4,400 the game before and a home average that must be well over the budget.

IMO its time for the players now to deliver in the last 5 games of the season to secure a play off place then after that its anyones guess.

I think 8 points could do it but 10 would make the last game a formality and the big question is whether the players now have the ability to do this.

Has AD got what it takes to make some big decisions now as we come to the run in. Put the BW game behind us as it was just a bad day all round.

If 442 is the formation then let the players know what this means with a front 2 working as a team and 2 banks of 4.
If were going 532 with Wedgbury deeper than the Mariana trench then make sure the FBs push forward.
If were going 433 then Wedgbury has to anchor the midfield and not sit in the pocket of Pearson.

Things have to change for these last 5 games or we will draw ourselves to 8th.

I am guessing the players are conscious that some fans are getting fidgety.

Whatever Manny says is good enough for me - couldn't do anything else anyway.

Trouble is we know they're not inspired by big crowds at all , whether overawed or unable to respond who knows .

Pagl whilst I agree the fans have turned up in good numbers, support isn't just bums on seats it's trying to actively and positively support the team as well. I don't go to home games due to my location so can't speak to the support that's generated but certainly on here it's been pretty vitriolic at the best of times and certainly since Monday. You have been pretty constructive but the sticking together to my mind is support with constructive criticism not a complete battering of every player and member of management screaming about how shit they are as that will be a self fulfilling prophecy if confidence is affected.

They all talk to much. Need to deliver.
Maybe I type to much but at least I deliver what I need to.
Who reads the Bleeder anyway?

He's being interviewed by the press after a game. He's hardly going to answer "no comment" to them. Nothing he's said is out of line either. Just saying they need to stick together and bounce back

First of all let’s not confuse criticism on here with support during games. Two completely separate things and not linked. I’ll say what I think on here but I don’t go to games and scream abuse at players or boo. Don’t link the two as if they go hand in hand, they don’t. Plus if players come on here then be a man and take it on the chin if you can’t then don’t read it, simple.

Secondly not managing a single shot on target in any game but particularly at home is a disgrace and it’s been going on all season. So the players need to sort their shi t out before talking in the press about sticking together. Give us something to cheer ffs.

Nothing wrong with our home support in fact I’d say it’s better than most in this league without doubt.

Too many games this season the team performances have been sleep inducing and they’ve given the crowd absolutely fck all to get excited about or raise you off your seat. Literally nothing in too many games. That’s why the crowd goes quiet and you can’t expect anything else with the abolsute bore fest we’ve seen this season.
At times like this the players are on a hiding to nothing talking to the press and the manager and players should know better.

Manny does say in the article the crowd have been behind the players during games so I do think they feel the support at the ground. Lets just hope they keep away from RP as they shouldn't be reading this.
