They possibly have a brief from the Club to the effect that searching, difficult or contentious questions shouldn't be asked.
That's if they want to be allowed to do future interviews.

The questions are posed by the club to the players so why should they be difficult in that respect. You’ll only get ‘difficult’ questions from an independent reporter. Even those so called journalists at the leader and post are well onside as not to upset Wrexham so they can get their ‘exclusives’. For a fan owned club we really are quite reticent.

exactly this. why would a club reporter try and be a knob to the players/management.

they aren't BBC journos, leave this crappy answers to them. oh hang on, they aren't bothered with non league coverage

Regardless of the above, why should we expect the club to respond in post match interviews to confrontational type questions. that is what the supporter group meetings, club AGM's etc are for. if you want an answer, attend one of them and ask

The after match interviews are all part of the PR of the club, to go on YouTube... It's just part of the manager's brief...
Obviously, Keats's, (Scratch Ear) hated doing it (Scratch other ear)..

I for one REDONE totally agree with you ,We as supporters are entitled to know why a player just given a two year contract is sat on the bench and not given a fair chance, why is our best chance of scoring ie QUIGLEY taken off EVERY game .Why do we sit back after going ahead in a game, why have we just chucked another two points away the list is endless, SO these questions need to be asked otherwise we will be stuck in this shithole of a league for another ten years.
