Saunders wasn't, isn't and never will be the answer. The man is an effing idiot as far as management is concerned. Spins the odd funny yarn on TV but has no idea how to run a football club on a budget.

Not on transfer fees but wasn't our budget that season over 1 million? It must have been pretty hefty in comparison to now. Not Saunders fault at all mind. He got given a budget and spent it very well to be fair.

I wasn't talking about transfer fees. No doubt he blew some cash but he did sign some absolute bargains the longer he was with us and left us with some assets on the pitch. What's todays squad worth? The square root of feck all I'd say.

Any other names would be most welcome

Start shooting me down boys but it's just my opinion
What was Saunders annual salary last time her was here ? Consider that before suggesting he return.

What kind of money did we pay to get frank Sinclair out of retirement,he was to slow for our division, but it would have been his final decent pay day.

I'm only suggesting 4 games not a 3year deal

The point I’m making is Morrell did a better job with that squad than Saunders.

It proves that Saunders really didn’t do such a good job as his budget was much more than those who proceeded him.

Didn't Saunders buy the club a mini bus to get the youth team to away games? Morrell might have had a better record, but he took over a very good Wrexham team, where as Saunders took a poor team and went on a 10 game unbeaten run with no changes to the squad. Once he brought his own players in we were brilliant.

But that's all in the past. I feel sorry for Davies today because he is finally managing the club he supports, but he is struggling. I'm disappointed in the board for putting us and him in this position.

The board are more interested in returning a profit than putting a winning football team on the field, but hey ho at least we will have a competitive budget next season in this tinpot....
