Default Wrexham fans really are the best! ( don't take it for granted)

So as it looks like the wheels have well and truly come off at the worst possible time, it really is a bitter pill to swallow as the fans deliver and have delivered for the 10 years we have been in this league.

I really think we need to take a step back and be in awe of how well supported we are. To churn out 4k plus crowds on a consistent basis when the football has been and unfortunately continues to be dross and boring at 5th tier level is nothing short of remarkable.

Im not saying the club board takes this for granted, but with the "entertainment" offered, the club have no right to ask let alone expect the fans to turn up in such numbers.

The WST/club board should be warned that this level of support should never ever be expected to continue indefinitely. God forbid attendances do dip, which we could have no complaints about, we would truly be stuffed.

Amen to that.

And currently the players (bar the odd individual) aren’t deserving of such magnificent support.

Good post being a Wrexham fan is like masochists loving being bored ever Saturday watching the worst anti amateur football ever.

All very true....But, as is seemingly more and more likely, we have really well and truly thrown away a playoff place. We'll have to hope for a Summer that somehow heals a lot of dissolutioned ST buyers...

Great post - it is the consistent factor in this club.

Spot on. I am a part time fan and I know loads like me who would go on a more regular basis under different circumstances. The potential is there to get even more going.

Hi have supported Wrexham for 30 years. During that time I have only seen 2 promotions and not a huge amount of near misses. I hope we get promotion, but don't underestimate how tough it is getting out of this league, or even the one above with twice as many promotion places.

We will moan when things are going against us, but the fans were moaning just as much when we were finishing in the middle of league one.

The season is far from over and now isn't the time to turn against the team or the management.

We seem to have goofed this season, and play offs hang in the balance. Generally, we are improving as a team, but perhaps not quick enough for me. The chances are, that we will still be in Division five come August. But we all have had three months off footy, with the exception of the World Cup, with no Wales. So we will be champing at the bit for footy come the second Saturday in August. Even going to meaningless friendlies against farty clubs most have never heard of. That is what following this club is all about.
I am saddened, but there IS more to life than football.

I agree with you, apart from the bit about friendlies. Stopped going to them about 5 years ago.
