Default Re: Your starting 11 for Ebbsfleet

I'd switch to a 4-2-3-1 so we're not outnumbered again in the centre.

GK Dunn.

RB Raven - CB Manny - CB Pearson - LB Jennings

CM - Wedgebury - CM - Wright

RW Rutherford - 10 Kelly - LW Holroyd

ST Quigley

Wedgebury & Wright should be solid enough in the middle and I'd give Kelly instructions to pass forwards! Looking to break fleet's lines and play-in Rutherford, Holroyd or Quigley. Rutherford and Holroyd would be a threat out wide but would want them to move the ball a lot quicker than usual, beat their man and either deliver early ball or cut in and shoot. Quigley would have to work very hard.... Just the tracking back from the wingers when we didn't have the ball would worry me in that system........ Hopefully we'd be tough to break down when we didn't have the ball but would then have more of a threat going forwards and be a bit more balanced.......

Having said all that, it'll be 4-4-2 and draw 1-1.

Changing a system 40 odd games into a season isn’t wise. However, football isn’t that complicated. As long as you retain a back 4, hopefully what happens ahead of that can be flexible.

England - National League form table
More worrying is our remaining games are v teams higher than us in 10 game form table, 3,4,5 and 12th!

That's because we set up not to loose!!!

Rudders does a good job defending, but offers nothing going forward! What ever happened to macreth on one side and rudders on the left both told to push forward ffs

Just watched the Eastleigh highlights, looks like we forced the keeper to make only one save, and looks like Deverdicks missed an open goal right at the end

How do you expect us to win a play off match, we would play all night before we scored,

Have you ever seen Rutherford tackle anyone though?

Some on here seem to mistake good defending for running around a lot.
