There is only a small amount left from part 1 which is why the club have started BTB part 2 in the hope that we can add to next seasons budget in a similar way.
I have a raffle going on another thread for 4 signed shirts and there will be plenty of more fund raisers over the summer.
Pagl. compliments sir you did a fantastic job pulling this together Well done.I do however have a question 're the monies. Apparently we had been after a striker for most of the Summer which ran into Autumn and Winter. Now I am assuming we had monies for this said striker but as you indicate it's now gone. I am aware we signed players in January.was that the striker money? Or put another way have we given Hartlepool our striker money for 2 duds? And if as romured the striker was Cook ( we can only dream) would the squad have been even smaller to fund It? Ie no quigs Frank's or deverics?..As I can't see how the figures will add up otherwise

BTB as a whole was used in many places and not directly for this 1 striker but as I understand it then if we had used part of BTB to fund a new striker e.g. Cook with a transfer fee and then supplement a slightly higher wage then BTB money would have been used before Deverdics/Franks signed and the club would have needed to fund that elsewhere - possibly from Taylor/Moult monies or not signed them at all.

I think before more money is raised via BTB 2 we should be told how BTB1
was spent as I have some doubt of where it went.Perhaps Mr Keates could tell
us?(I am not saying it was ill used but as we are a community club all things
should be visible and even player's signing on fees and certainly agents fees)
I know this will not go down well with a lot of you but these questions should be
asked for transperancy.

The question has been answered already. Transfer fees for a number of players and then the ability to pay some players more than would have been allowed without BTB. Actual figures on which players etc. is confidential and the BTB committee (well the ones not on the board) don't know those details and quite rightly so. Details of transfer fees will probably shown in the next set of accounts.

BTB 2 will give the new manager the same head start that DK had and hopefully he will be able to use it better.

Hope that's enough info for you to donate into BTB2 and the Signed player shirt raffle is still open until 29 April.

BTB 1 I assume has got us Deverdics, Franks and Ainge. If anything we are worse now than before they arrived well we are arent we? I think onelegged harry has a point asking how the money has been spent maybe someone from tonights meeting can ask that question.

Would Wrexham really sign Cooke for £1700 per week plus a fee and signing on fee,not a chance!
