Well we bid a few times over the summer and again in January for him so we must have been willing. I'm not sure about the 1700 figure though. Didn't their chairman say the highest earner was on 1200 a week?

For me yes - I was responding to the rather strange post that BTB is questionable because of the players engaged which must surely be a question for the manager that recruited them.

The hottest property in non league football who will guarantee you 20 odd goals a season on £1200 per week,that is like the chap who posted on here that matt Rhead was on £500 per week when we also were trying to sign him.
