I would imagine that the improvements proposed have been on the cards for some time and well before Keates departure. I;m sure that Phil Salmon has had a hand in this.
This will not detract from football matters. (we don't play much football anyway) It's not like the team are doing the relevant work.
One thing bothers me though. To get over the 10k figure, the match will have to be ticket only and allocated seating, even if we sell tickets on the day.

I would hazard a guess that the people who are carrying out the work to get the lower GUS ready aren’t the same set of people looking to recruit the next manager. Just a hunch...

Why do people think that the board are not looking at new management as well? As for comments about getting a new manager in now that is just ridiculous. What do we do? Offer him a contract for four weeks or give somebody a proper contract without having had the time to check things out properly? Then we could be saddled with a failing manager for the whole of next season and people will complain that the Board rushed the job.

No need to be done really. Chester ain't in our division next season and tranmere could go up. Reduces the need for extra capacity to virtually nill!

Presumably they want to fill the tech end so it then has a safety certificate for the full capacity. Thus giving us a capacity of over 10k.

Should be looking at a decent crowd anyway, and it'd be good to see behind the goal full, I'll be taking a few mates in there instead of the MRS.

Tranmere requested 200 additional tickets and we said no

But now we are looking to do the upgrade

Invest in the team
That will bring in extra money for the ground
