I was one of those moaning bastards but I’m glad something positive is being done to bring these seats into use.

It really does annoy me when something positive is being done but people have to be negative.

Why doesn't the board hand over £50k of the profit they made to be ring fenced for the playing budget? Instead of expecting the fans to pay again just an idea

Target 10,000 will:

Return the capacity of the stadium back above the 10,000 level with an investment of £15,000 to get the Lower University End behind the goal available to use when demand requires.
Designate the home fixture vs AFC Fylde on Saturday 28th April 2018 as our Target 10,000 game in which any surplus money above budget to be guaranteed to supporters to be ring fenced to support our re-launch of Build The Budget.
Create our own Red Wall at the game.
Be part of our own Red Wall on the 28th April versus AFC Fylde

Tickets are now on sale including in the Lower University End for this game. We are urging fans attending this game to buy tickets for the University End, we believe with your help that we can create our own ‘Red Wall’ and sell out the entire 3,000 seats behind the goal (Lower and Upper GUS) and create a unique special atmosphere at the Racecourse. We want to create a noise that can be heard in Marchwiel!

Fans who want to go in the Lower University End should purchase their tickets in the next few days as we believe this area will sell out quickly as the first brick in the Red Wall.

Don’t Delay

If you can, please purchase your tickets in the next few days to help us drive Target 10,000. Experience tells us that when ticket sales take off that drives more and more people to choose to attend the game and can help us create our own Red Wall, an amazing atmosphere and Build-That-Budget!

Look out for further communications about what will be happening on the day!

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE HERE

Come On You Reds!
Why are we able to put 3000 fans behind the goal against flyde?

Maybe the board could invest some of the profit we made last year.... I think more and more that the board are happy bumbling along in this division. Another flag day will be next!

how dare the board come up with an idea to raise money for a club that’s main income is through the turnstiles.

The football is crap at the minute granted, but this is an idea to raise funds. Why complain?

Because we've spent money to bring the stand up to requirements?

I dont know how people can say that with a straight face. Its ludicrous.

L2 is worth an estimated 750kpa with all the grants, tv money and extras you get. Yes wages would go up but with FFP in place we'd
Be in a better place than a hell of a lot of teams.

You're chatting sh1t if you don't think the board (Wrexham fans) dont want promotion.

Would you want to buy Quigley for £50k? Is he even worth that much, Blackpool only paid £35k for him. We need to not be paying any transfer fees this summer and putting all the budget into wages. Look at the dross we have paid transfer fees on for the current squad!
