I will tell you where it's all gone wrong, think back to before Xmas October November even December, how many fans myself included were saying we were riding our luck that teams that can't score goals don't win anything, but the (hate to use this word) Happy clappers wouldn't listen they knew best the departed fool Mike Hughes with his bet bullshit for one and the ones salivating at his posts, we haven't had a midfield or strike force all season Holroyd was carrying us upfront, the defence was solid, but it would be when we rarely moved over the halfway line even at home.

Then come New year other teams improved strengthened where needed, where as our Messiah Keates signed players worse than the ones he signed pre-season, Davies and the board are taking the wrap for Keates inexperience and poor game plan & signings, we were already on a long run of draws when Keates left what's happened would of happened anyway.

Generally agree with this.
Whilst the football on display was dismal, we all tended to accept that playing ugly and grinding out results was working.
I turned up every game in hope more than expectation of some football.
As in all football, the opposition sussed us out and we were getting overrun in the middle of the park and driven further back in defence. Draw after draw we were crawling to the finish line and performances were deteriorating long before Keates left.
We were crying out for a midfield general and ended up with chocolate soldiers.
There is still some hope but I wouldn't bet a penny on the next game.

Spot on QR chocolate soldiers is a good analogy, once confidence goes as it has done with this team it's hard to get it back & unfortunately not that it's Davies fault we have nobody to shake them up and tell them all the season's hardwork is down to Just that hardwork and they need to get back to basics put in 3 performances like they did at Tranmere, Pearson needs to fire them up on the field that's the captains job.

Whilst my heart always hopes for the best, my head has been saying, "We are not good enough" all season. We will have to win at least 2 and probably all 3 to crawl over the line.

Sadly, another wasted season, and players with contracts for next season who should be playing at a lower level. Not good, I am afraid.
