Not a great situation and incredibly frustrating though.

You have contradicted yourself you thought the appointment or Keates was a good one & the contract extension, then you go on to criticise his signings, sorry that is one of the main differences between a good manager and an average to poor one. Keates record in the transfer market was poor particularly in midfield and upfront,then follow that with boring negative tactics.

The situation lies firmly with the board. They know what type of uninspiring person Andy Davies is.

Strange one - Difficult to see any return on investment for this wealthy entrepreneur if it does not change the ownership basis of the club - it is literally giving money away. (tbf on Chester's gates its difficult to see that even if they do gain ownership)

Unless this person simply wants to donate their money to Chester - which may be possible - it doesn't seem likely that they would not be looking for some form of transfer of assets or control

It’s a shame the Chester Trust didn’t make appeals for interested parties before now. Their demise may have been avoided.
