I think the chance of a playoff spot is too close to call. I'll be there on Saturday hoping to see us take a step closer.

As for the Fylde game; anyone remember the Boston game when we were fighting for survival in League Two? I'm not sure this squad has the stomach for that so I feel we need wins on both the next two Saturdays.
Yes we remember the Boston game, that was the same side which hadn't delivered all season, but do you remember the bottle Ryan Vanentine had to walk up and drill that penalty.
Yes we are all depressed with the last few games, and based on recent form have reasons to be. But as supporters we support our team, even in dire times. In Mills time we would have dreamt of a tilt at the play offs.. i do not believe there has been any mismanagement by the board or players- deliberately- yes players could/ should have done better recently. Play off can still be achieved, even Wembley even promotion- yes i am depressed re the situation, and feel promotion is a long shot. But having supported my club for nice on 50 years i will not give up and will be there Saturday encouraging our players. Believe, cos that's what i do.

I'm sure it would matter to Edinburgh on a personal level.

I can't see us losing to either Aldershot or Dover. I think you need to win one of the next two, and avoid defeat against Fylde.

Dagenham won't be easy Saturday they have found some form, Leyton Orient away is difficult as they to have hit form and scoring for fun, then Fylde who've already beaten us twice

We are all feeling the pain of losing form at this stage of the season, but looking at the last 6 game form table, Aldershot, Sutton and Boreham Wood must be having similar concerns

Boreham Wood v Chester = 3pts
Bromley vs Boreham Wood = 1pt
Boreham Wood vs Guiseley = 3pts

Boreham Wood = 74pts

Wrexham vs Dagenham & Redbridge = 3pts
Leyton Orient vs Wrexham = 1pt
Wrexham vs Fylde = 0pt

Wrexham = 73pts

Maidenhead vs Dover = 1pt
Dover vs Tranmere = 0pt
Dover vs Gateshead = 1pt
Woking vs Dover = 3pts

Dover = 74pts

Barrow vs Ebbsfleet =3pts
Eastleigh vs Ebbsfleet = 1pt
Ebbsfleet vs Sutton = 0pts
Gateshead vs Ebbsfleet = 1pt
Torquay vs Ebbsfleet = 3pts

Ebbsfleet = 72pts

This is how I see the season panning out.

Sadly with us finishing 8th 1 point behind Dover and Boreham Wood.

We need some serious favours from our relegation friends i.e. Guiseley, Torquay, Chester and Barrow.

However, if we win at home against Dagenham and away at Leyton Orient I believe that will be enough.

Also looking at Aldershot's fixtures. Depending on where Barrow are in the league when they play them I think they could struggle to get to 74pts.

Lose to Tranmere
Draw to Gateshead
Draw to Barrow
Lose to Sutton

73pts

Its going to be close whatever happens. Al we can do is go for the three wins. Get them and we will be in the playoffs.

But Sutton, Aldershot and Dover are stuttering. It might be too big an ask for Ebbsfleet to make it.

The important thing is to get the points on the board, we can't control what other teams do.
