He should agreed at least be considered as our next permanent manager.

3 match end of season trial with us - his passion is perhaps what's missing at the moment???

It would certainly make a great story. I do agree with other posters that our players need a massive kick up the arse for the final 3 games, and AD/CD don't seem to have that nasty side in their DNA.

I'd take Bignot over Craig Harrison (whose another name I've seen talked about on here), but not convinced on him - he did well at Solihull but flunked it at Grimsby... He deserves a chance though.

Speaking of Solihull, surprised nobody has mentioned Mark Yates as he's turned them around and they look likely to stay up after seemingly been dead and buried. Done a good job at a higher level with Cheltenham too.

Why is there the assumption that the players aren't trying ? Another possibility is that they simply are not good enough and despite their efforts are being beaten now that other teams are perhaps having a good go against us. I can't really remember too many games where we have put a team to the sword. Most wins were narrow. All tactics ? Not so sure.

JND mentioned him on another thread. Wouldn’t be averse to Yates coming in.

It would be interesting, Bignot is very self-opinionated, and hasn't got a very good track record of instant success, which wouldn't go down too well with some people on here, but there are a few very good points if he was given time. He had a lot of success at Solihull Moors, not only promotion to the National League and winners of the Birmingham Senior Cup, but he also held the position of Director of Football at Solihull and set up a complete system. Solihull now have 35 teams including most age groups, boys and girls, and a successful academy. A club at the heart of the community. As a proven defender his teams were well set up and he had the ability of finding young strikers and getting the best out of them (Bogle & Asante). He is very keen on developing youth players, having worked with tight budgets.

The problem could be with our football experts on the Board. Would they want a person like this A bit like the English FA with Brian Clough "The trouble with Clough, he would expect to run the team"

I've been watching the grass grow most of the season it's been more exciting than watching our bunch of tossers scared to cross the halfway line.😎
