that's like saying we will definitely be in the playoffs and go up this year because we were awesome and took 4 points from Tranmere. |

Man City 2 - Man Utd 3 Man Utd 0 - West Brom 1 Does that mean that Man City are rubbish, Man Utd are better, and West Brom are champions? No if course not. You mustn't think we're rubbish based on Saturday's result, but on the full season. Right now there's still an outside chance that we'll remain in the playoffs - unlike 19 teams below us that are not currently as well placed. If we're rubbish, what does that make them? |

We gave up a 1-0 lead to lose at home. Lack of focus and commitment on the defensive end , because we have given up. And lack of self belief going forward, because, you know, the players have given up. |

D&R certainly had more movement about them especially at the start of each half but I think we got into the game more as the first half wore on and scored once we got the ball down and passed it. 2nd half it was just poor marking for the first goal with te usual ball watching to leave a man totally unmarked at the edge of the box and to be fair a very good finish. The second goal was again poor marking combined with lack of pace from Raven and another set piece. Poor finishing then cost us at the other end but I don't think there was any lack of effort its just that we have too many players reluctant to run into space with the ball and commit defenders especially in midfield where its all a bit get the ball and pass sideways and wait for someone else to make a run. |

Didn't Yates apply in the past (possibly when we went after Mills?) After his terrible last year at Cheltenham (or possibly his terrible year at Crawley) when he was being touted for a few jobs (back to Kidderminster too at one point) I'm unconvinced. Yes he's done well in half a season with Solihull but he's done that by spending a bit of cash and bringing in much better players than they had. Hardly rocket science. His early record with Cheltenham was ok but...not sure. |
