It'll be some nobody again or an 'exciting' young prospect. We always choose duds, seems to be a common thread the last 8 years or so. I don't expect an experienced respected pro, we don't do those.

With our fan base we may as will call it a day then if we can’t comoete with part-time clubs who can afford better... what a joke if your saying we can’t compete with clubs like Macclesfield who struggle to get over 1800 and smaller clubs who have 1200 crowds.

If it's true that they are sorting the retained list & that the rumour is they have someone willing to work with them, then the new manager is nothing but a puppet and be prepared for another season of failure next season.

Maybe you're believing the BS on here.
Just maybe they haven't appointed a manager yet but want one that will work with the current team.
Like it or not we have limited funds and we all want the majority of those funds spending on players rather than a management team.
We also need to ensure that the new man has a contract similar to Keates contract that doesn't expose the club to a penal compensation.
It's a balancing act but won't satisfy the anti trust / anti board brigade.
