I would snap Mark Yates hand off - hardly been at Solihull 5 minutes and already have a better team than us.
Don't get the Bellamy wish - never done it before and certainly not at this level - even if he would consider it.
John Still was missing yesterday - one of the games characters but he's clocked some miles up and it Dagenham through and through - I spoke to the staff taking the kit back to their team coach whilst leaving the ground - I was told he is 'poorly' - to what extent wasn't divulged.
I feel we are virtually back to square one and about to start all over again.
A new broom might want to bring in his own backroom staff - should they not be entitled to do that and recruit their own players ?

It's clear that we need a very good manager to get promotion; we can't spend our way out of the division.

Good managers do cost money; but getting players to perform above their potential is cheaper than getting an expensive squad in.

I hope whoever it is has a good hard look at where our 'second string' should be. Even if it's arranging friendlies through the season. We need something to keep players fit, bring injured players back and blood youngsters.

That's due to lack of looking into his background by those who chose him, their was / is a reason he was a non league journeyman who only got York promoted after finishing well behind the Champions through a one off cup lottery that Is the play offs.

Have we forgotten about Harrison then , as he knows Darling , just guessing . The decision to let Darling and Davies decide next years squad is totally mystifying and unless they have agreed something with another potential Manager for next season it could backfire . If the new Manager is of a decent standing , they should get him signed up pronto or another club with bigger backing could steal him away , and ruin all plans .
