Agree, as your name says , it may seem doom gloom now. We are all hurting, but we are all supporters, we have opinions, we appoint a Trust board to appoint a Football board and staff because we can't do it ourselves. If we have ability step forward, I'd say WST welcome all constructive help. No I'm not on the board but believe they want just what we want, a successful team. As others hav said more teams are unsuccessful. We should be able to attract quality management and players. Until recently this season we performed better than expected, in play offs with small chance of top (guiesely away) - its likely not to be our season. But we've got our respect back after mills, built the foundations of a team... part 1 , next. Season has to be better. Yma o hyd

I think the point being spectacularly missed here is that the fans that are being asked to constantly dig in their pockets are purely that... fans. Not parents of a child needing to be nurtured correctly.
There were 5 to 5.5 thousand regular home fans up until Christmas when for me,the inactivity to get much needed personnel when it was clear to all they were needed, didn't happen.
Spectator numbers have tailed off since, that, despite us being in a play off position.
Now we are seeing a possible fresh disappointment looming in not making the playoffs after being there all season.
Now for me the fans have been spectacular in fund raising to keep this club going over the years and let's be fair are perfectly entitled to a gripe after what's starting to look like yet another barren year on the pitch.
We are this league's longest serving team. Does that not say anything at all ?
Season isn't over so let's pray a miracle happens. But if not, don't attack the hand that feeds the club, it is they, that needs nurturing, not the other way around and if those that run the club don't like to hear criticism if it's due, well, maybe it's not the personnel but the system thats failing.
Let's hope not and fans can be "encouraged" to continue their support.

I could not believe how bad we were especially in the first half against a team that had lost all hope. It is a shame that Chester did not beat us that day to put us all out of our misery this season. The final humiliation this season will be when Fylde take the piss out of us in the final match of the season at home. Fylde - who are they, they play in a village not much bigger than Llay.

For the past 5-6 seasons or so, I like probably many supporters have become increasing fed up of our Club's continuous theme of continuing to flatter.

I just hope in the next few weeks our Board, can select the right manager who will be giving the authority virtually to get rid of the vast majority of this season's, yet again, disfunctional team.

Over the past few seasons I have become increasingly sick of southern teams especially, coming to our former international ground and having a good laugh at us.

Many teams on lower budgets than us do allright, to name a few Accrington, Crewe , Macclefield, Morecambe.

We can do it if the Board have the nous to appoint the right manager.

We slip out of the playoffs on the night little Accrington Stanley get promoted to league 1 for the first time ever, at one time Accrington Stanley were a joke even used on adverts, now it's us that's the joke of non league.

Another rib gone. Please explain the flaw in a concept to provide continuity? Obviously the solution when we do badly on the pitch is to deride fellow supporters.

They're certainly not supporters.

The team haven't performed as we expected them to, do you think they're happy about that?
Do you think they go onto the pitch hoping to lose? To play poorly?

I'm as disappointed as anyone, but turning on the team, the management or the club board cures nothing. I've read they're not brave, but they've tried experienced managers, up and coming and novice managers. Everyone's an expert when it's not their job.
Because fans have an opinion which may differ to yours, does not make them anymore less fans than you. Fans respond to disappointment in different ways some more vocal than others . Some say there is always another day others more winning mentality.

If you walk into a supermarket and make a complaint to the Manager, what you would not expect is the Manager to say is, if you can do better apply for my job. This seems to be the opinion of some on here.

The team may not be capable of better, playing within their ability. DK brought them to play a certain way, his way, it may not be possible to motiivate them to play any other way. AD &,CD worked with DK so they should know, the players, they clearly have not responded since he left. They are left holding the baby.

Regarding the players attitude, you let them off to lightly. Think Ferguson for one would have thrown more than a few cups in the changing room.

I am sure you have an opinion of things in life which you are unqualified or not an expert, it may be on Brexit for example. You are entitled to your opinion although others may strongly disagree. Who is to say you are right it is just your opinion.

Lets see boreham wood get promoted a team that cannot achieve 4 figure gates at this crunch time of the season.
The football league is going to love a team that will have an average of less than 1k.
