I’d take fighting relegation in the football league to being serial failures in the conference all day

No we aren't. No team is but if they were to be it would be one of the relegated teams.

In my view some board members should resign as when previous bad decisions have been made ie Millsgate board members did the honourable thing.
I think most of the people on here at the time thought it was the right decision myself included.

For me its not being able to sign a decent striker. You look at how good Cook has done at Tranmere this season and you can see why we wanted him here. However continually going after him when Tranmere made it clear they would not sell to us was a mistake which possibly lost us other targets. Bringing Massanka back after a poor original loan spell was another mistake and Ainge has just been terrible. This season has come down to fine margins with too many drawn games. A bit of extra quality up top could have got us the goals to have us still sitting in the playoffs or possible still chasing the top spot.

Exactly. At the time losing Keates was a massive blow and most of us thought continuity and AD was the best answer. It hasn't worked out and we are stuck in this league another season.

Now its open season on the WST and the way the club is run without any even remotely realistic alternatives on how the club should be run. Plenty of experts on here so hopefully some of them volunteer to help the WST and the club and take us forward.

keates built a team to defend but could not build a team to attack ,he will probably have similar problems at walsall, this is why it is important to appoint an experienced manager not a novice, to appoint a novice you are inviting problems keates could of been made assistant, was this done to accommodate darlington and is the same mistake about to be made again

It's not over yet. If we beat Leyton Orient Saturday our game against Fylde is winner-take-all.

I understand we've not been the best recently but it's not over just yet.

I wouldn't say Fylde is winner take all. That merely gets us into the playoffs and the chance to be 4-0 down at half time away to aldershot or whoever.

It was over when the board of non football people decided to do nothing!

We have to rely on others slipping up, after doing it so many times ourselves.

What do you mean by “non football people”?

What is a “football” person?
