Don’t think we could do a lot better with our budget, clearly for the experience know how to get teams to playoffs and turning a poor Solihull side to what’s looking like a solid mid table side. Would be chuffed with Yates.

As I put up on another thread:

Mark Yates has been mentioned a couple of times. Interesting to see that this season he has had a 1.615 point per match, which would be 71 points after 44 games (only 2 more than we have now).
For his whole career, it's only 1.401 points which is 61 points after 44 games (it would put us 11th now). He's steered Solihull to (almost) safety this season (they're still only 6 points off the relegation zone and he has been there for more than half the season), he did the same with Kiddie at the start of his career, but only followed that up with mid-table the next.
Bit 'meh' for me.

In addition to this - he lost more games at Cheltenham and Crawley than he won and had a 1.354 ppm average (60 points after 44 games) at Cheltenham and a 1 ppm average at Crawley (44 points after 44 games - that would put us in the relegation zone)

People go on about budgets but the club has just made a profit plus this season being 1000 up on the break even figure.....if we can't pay a bit extra for some quality players or manager there is something seriously wrong.

Odd that some are critiscing a manager with experience at this level because some judge he is not been successful yet they accept that our club appointed someone without even any first team experience .
