Starting line up today only have 27 goals between them. Taking Quigley and Pearson out the total is 14. 14 goals between 8 outfield players. Not scoring again not a major surprise.

Also really hope new manager is lined up and only contract to end of season is holding it up-Askey or Yates. Otherwise surely Davies should have stood down after Borehamwood as his managerial reign has been embarrassingly bad unfortunately for him and for our play offs hoped. Falling from being top in February to 10th in April is crazy and in reality unheard of even in non-league circles. It has made us a laughing stock. Myself would have preferred a new man immediately after Keates left as felt new manager bounce would carry us over line to play-offs. Never felt automatic was realistic with set up of team but couple of wins would have clinched spot. Understood logic if had to wait until season end for right man but so much season ticket sales and player recruitment and retention rides on the appointment. If new manager not in place cannot believe have put FL hopes in hands of man who had no FL experience or managerial experience. Wilkin had no FL experience but he had promotion under his belt and signings showed he knew a good player (Moult, York). Davies has no experience and it shows, costing us the season unfortunately.

To be fair Davies has come in at a really tough time. It's one thing joining an underachieving club to make them look good. Davies took over an overachieving club (based on performance) and has struggled. Keates probably knew this when he jumped.

Yes he has, and he did so well it was changed at half-time.

got to dissagree thereHD a tough time is fighting relegation and if it was so tough he should not have taken the job, he knrw the players but they have no respect for a junior coach and its shown

Davies has been screwed by the players. They support his appointment then do this to him? Low as a snake's gut.

Then the fans who have given so much support and cash this and previous seasons also take one for the team, yet again.

It's always a bit worrying when players support the appointment of a manager. Stinks of 'this is going to be an easy ride.' In any job, if you're not at least a little bit intimidated by your boss, you become complacent. Fear keeps you sharp.

Even Stevie Wonder could see, we've been crying out for a striker all season. Why we never bought Cook when he was out of the Tranmere team, at the beginning of the season i'll never know. It would of weakened them and made us stronger.
No wonder Keates jumped ships, when Walsall came after him, he could see what was eventually going to happen to us this season.
Because Tranmere refused to sell him to us.

That's irrelevant, surely.

Just back,

Shocking performance
Talentless team
Great atmosphere at start, but turns as we get worse
Wxm fan attacks another one and pins him to the ground, grown man not kids.

Not feeling proud of my team, glad the season is over after thousands of miles travelling all over the country, roll on Wimbledon and I feckin hate tennis.
