Fantastic attitude.

I don't see any lessons learnt and I think with the tripe served up this season its going to be more difficult to raise hopes for next season.

IMO extending contracts for Pearson and Manny by 1 year would be a big plus for all the fans. A decent managerial appointment made quickly after Tuesdays end to the promotion hopes and then a recruitment process put in place would really help towards exorcising the ghost of 2017-18.

You cant ignore what has happened and has been going on for years. We must get to the root cause of these continuing failures and get something done to make sure we do it right this time.

Agree. The Board need to regain the initiative, with a competent manager who demands attacking football at the top of the agenda. Another prolonged appointment process would not be appreciated.

Remember, the international motto for all HR types is:

We’re not happy until you’re not happy!

Agree. We need to foster a culture within the club that whilst cock-ups will happen, we must learn from them.

Learn from your mistakes, but preferably learn from others!

Why look for blame!!!!! Why don't we all just accept the fact that the squad was just not good enough to achieve promotion or the play offs. Playing the blame game is what I used to do in my early school days.
Everyone connected with the club have put in a lot of hard work to try and get us what we wanted unfortunately we fell short.

Let's move on and look forward to next season and try and make continued improvement.

The board.

As posted on other thread, budget will need to be huge next year. With class of 92, Tranmere and others....

Misssdd a great chance this year which makes it all the more maddening and the board do nothing to change our fortunes. Keep plodding along the same path

Some interesting comments from our captain:

"If I am totally honest the football club needs to be tougher as a whole,” said Pearson.

“It is a work in progress and it has definitely improved in that respect.

“Hopefully when the new manager comes in, they will take it by the scruff of the neck and things will move on again.

“The football club has taken a massive step in the right direction this season so positive from that point of view but if I am totally honest, from where we were it is a massive failure if we don’t get in the play-offs”

Is it any wonder we have been in this league 10 years. We need a winning mentality, not there is always tomorrow
