Re: This has been a good season
I would like to see us adopt a 3-5-2 formation but the change in personnel required may be a factor in this.

Some current players could be incorporated into it, but would certainly need some new quality faces also. A new centre-half alongside Manny and Pearson (some may argue Raven could do it) A midfield five anchored by a combative duo of Wedgebury and Wright, supplemented by pacey wide men who can deliver and hopefully the Deverdics of old shown faith to have a sustained run in his favoured position. Then two centre-forwards. With goals in them. Seems an obvious thing to say but a crucial thing we’ve lacked. For me, jury is out on Quigley. The Quigley I saw away at Hartlepool - yes, otherwise no. Does he deserve to be offered something? Will he thrive under better leadership and with better service? Or is there better out there? Tough call. |

Re: This has been a good season
Well assuming we get a new manager in who isn't a yes man (doubtful if already agreed to work with the 2 men who are in charge now) then he would if any good weigh up these past it journeymen and soon see who's worth keeping and who isn't. I don't get this love in for Wedgebury myself a grafter yes but a midfielder needs to be able to do the basics like make simple passes.
