If Keates stayed we would still be playing in the same league next year. It was a team who couldn't win, regularly lost leads and couldn't score. These problems were there before AD came in.

Despite our failings the club has been able to provide a manager with more money over the season than any other under our ownership. It's just a pity that we've fallen short. To me it's a blessing in disguise as I'm not sure I could suffer another year of boredom. Games that you wish would finish long before the final whistle.
Hopefully another lesson learnt but the next manager has to have a bit more about him and want to play decent football or we will start losing support.

I'm struggling to spot more than 2 worth keeping in that lot.

After reading the Congy Red report, one can only assume that he is presently on an anti depressant trial ! Does he truly believe that keeping the nucleus of the squad next season, will bring better results? Got to respect the guy, cos clearly he put the happy in Happy Clapper.

Total nonsense. There’s only the 2 centre halves who are good enough for what we need. Dunn is one of the worst keepers I’ve seen here.

Don't disagree about Dunn being poor but he kept Jalal out of the side and look what he has gone & done won the league, Dunn is a good shot stopper but doesn't command his area punches balls he should catch, rarely leaves the goal line.. But one of the worst ever here??? Belford? The tree? Without naming them all.

Agree about only the 2 centre halves being good enough to keep.

Still a lot of observations along the lines of 'death to all with responsibility for our failure'. Few willing to admit this is better than the last two seasons? Few willing to admit any progress?.

Wrexham have never had a team full of stars to my mind (I started watching in 1976 and that era was the closest) that is why I chose the words 'good' and 'quite good' . I am trying to convey my belief, backed up by our results, that we aren't a long way off success. Why would you rip up a squad that is about five points light of success?

I don't expect a team full of stars but do expect a certain amount of entertainment for my Season Ticket and that would include some crosses into the box and shots on target. I gave up the ghost back in October when I saw the standard!
