1. Our goalkeeper is quite good.
2. Our fullbacks are quite good. I know Jennings is Marmite but he has done some good things, and both fullbacks have been part of a lot of clean sheets.
3. Our central defence is very good, not perfect, they aren't Maldini but the consensus is they're the best bit of the team.
4. Wedgbury and Wright are good and can be part of a solid midfield that wouldn't let us down.
5. Holroyd will hopefully stay and is very good.
6. Rutherford is Marmite but I think he's quite good.
7. Olly Marx, Raven, and Carrington are quite good.
We are two very good players short (Striker and centre midfield). I think that's a really good return for a season of new players.

The budget for next year will be good. We probably ended up with too many players for our limited budget, but fortunately there is plenty of scope to shift players. I think the crowds may suffer slightly next season due to the disgust at the failure to gain promotion, but that feeling can be wiped away with a good start.
Correction to my last: this would be a good season if we get into the POs after Saturday's game against Fylde. It would be an excellent season if we then get promoted.

If, however, we finish outside the POs we would have failed to meet our objective, so any ratings from 'wonderful to dog-shit' would be irrelevant, especially as we need to change most of our players for an improvement next season.

When finishing mid table in the conference is a good season, we might aswell give up.

Its clear changes are needed, and the new manager will need to be ruthless.

Both Keepers may as well go, and get a reliable stopper in. Doesn't have to be a big name, just someone who has performed consistently over several seasons.

The defence is fine, though I would like another recognised LB, RB and CB (offload Marx)to promote competition for places.

Midfield is a worry. Those who say Wedgebury should go as he doesn't pass the ball enough I can't agree with. He is there for one reason, to break up opposition attacks and protect the defence. As long as he can pass the ball a few feet to a team mate that's fine with me.

Wright shows promise but are we too negative with both him and Wedgebury in midfield?
Deverdics needs to be played CM in pre season to see if he is up to it. Kelly can go. And Leo Smith. This, in my opinion, would mean we need a couple more brought in. If these are creative types then all the better.

Carrington is good utility but only a squad player. Keep him if the budget allows.

Rutherford has performed a lot better this season but if we are serious about promotion probably should be offloaded unless the budget allows him to be a squad player.

Holroyd I am undecided on. Boden might as well go but Quigley could be a good try at offering. But we will need two pacy and accurate wingers to play alongside the top men. We need an out and out goalscorer and a target man.

not a lot needed then!

It will be confirmed tonight we can't get into the playoffs so Saturday will be irrelevant. I can't see Bromley not beating Barrow and Ebbsfleet could easily brush aside Gateshead.

Agree it’s very unlikely but nothing’s ever easy in this god-awful league.

Drawn far too many games.

Most games see us creating very little chances.

We need some quality out wide that can get past a man.
Midfield far too defensive and we don't dominate games.

yes, we somehow managed to get 4 points from Tranmere - but the set up and balance of their team is far superior to ours - probably why they are 2nd in the league

Left back and right back offer very little going forward - even Chester had better players in on loan in those positions than us.

A partial rethink is required if we are to get out of this league - scoring goals will help!!

Agree with most of that but Quigley isn't the answer and its obvious why he is overlooked at Blackpool.
We need two goalscorers and big nasty midfield controller .

Get rid of everyone not under contract and apart from Manny and Pearson tell the others they're fighting for a place on the bench
