Can't produce a team with the gates we get to at least reach playoffs is a joke , we are in no worse situation than anybody above us it quite spells out the club is failing due to bad management at the highest level , you do need luck but also people who know about football . One day we will get there but not with what we've got running wrex fc now . The board knew what profits in Jan the club was going to make , why did we not spend to guarantee playoff spot , we would have got that money back on the playoff gates , it's not a gamble it common sense . In hand build the budget , sell your kids etc always take retake and take the money of people who keep supporting this wonderful club. The facts are unless this club spends top dollar on a manager with proven experience we're going nowhere

We should be competing at the top end with average crowds of 4700. How a club like Borehamwood can finish above us with crowds of 400 is shameful.

Whilst we continue to accept mediocrity on the pitch then its going to be an annual struggle.

Season after season we have had to watch players that cannot trap a bag of cement, pass wind, control their bladder or do the basics.
COE players promoted out of their depth and lauded as one of our own.

No continuity, short term contracts, no spine to the team. To cap it all this season players that could not hit a cows arse with a banjo.

A few 2 year deals this year have improved us defensively but where was our midfield general, where was our centre forward FFS.

Its ok everyone spouting xbox football manager comments but its not hard to see mediocrity at best, very little leadership, petulance and generally performances that are so poor that capitulation is no surprise.

Another managerial appointment on its way and the WAFC board have had plenty of time to review all the quality candidates, from all levels of football but who will they saddle us with next (no pun intended).

Here we go again with another summer of whose who and long periods of total inactivity and a sudden bargain basement influx. Sign Tom Hanks at least he was a good castaway!

We must be allowed to question why poor players are allowed to continue to play without some of the vitriol on here, especially when season after season those judgements are proven right.

Lets see what another season holds with the simple thought that performances lead to results not the other way round.

This league cannot be won with players trying to snatch 1-0 wins. Quality over quantity, spine of the team and only use loan players who improve the starting 11 and not just warming the bench are start points.

Why can't people understand that average crowds means absolutely nothing in this league for the majority of clubs?

I see Pearson in his article said the club needs to " Toughen up " wonder if he means the overall management , maybe we should hear some harsh words from the Board about what's expected at this club from players and managers , instead of the we are a family club and want family type values ..Kick some arse maybe .

We did spend in Jan, Quigley, Deverdics, Franks and Ainge. Not the boards fault they weren't a roaring success

I imagine Keates didn't take any nonsense. Players like Boden and Mackreth weren't playing, possibly because they weren't performing? Davies seems a different sort of personality.

This is complete conjecture of course. That said I think we could be a family club with a strong community focus off the pitch. But the first team management could still be tough and hard working.
